Last week I got my complimentary author’s copies of the Dutch translation of Bad Monkeys. They’ve changed the title to Oog om oog, “Eye for an Eye.” Don’t let the brevity of the words in the title fool you, though—the translation as a whole is fifty pages longer than the original, owing to the fact that Dutch, like German, is a linguistic descendant of Entish:
